Nominated by his lecturer, Scott’s impressive classroom coursework vividly displayed his potential for success in the painting and decorating industry. His projects also underscored his ability to lead and collaborate effectively, both within his class and in real-world environments.

Joining Scott on the winners’ podium, Rian Sanderson secured the top spot in the 2nd-year Apprentice of the Year category. Rian’s nomination highlighted his passion for learning and his remarkable decorating skills, setting him apart as a standout student. He was commended for his ability to excel both independently and within a team, demonstrating a promising future in the trade.

Meanwhile, Aaron McKechnie, a third-year apprentice at the College, was awarded the competition’s highest honour, the prestigious Overall Painting and Decorating Apprentice award.
